Prayer- Newly elected Office bearers take charge
St. Matthew 25:14-30
നിന്നെ വിളിക്കുന്നേ നാഥാ
നിന്നുതവിക്കായ് ബലഹീനർ
നല്ലവനേ കാരുണ്യത്താൽ
നൽകണമേ യാചിപ്പുകളേ
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one true God: Glory be to him; and may his grace and mercy be upon us forever-Amen
O Lord God Almighty, who in Your infinite wisdom appoints leaders to guide and serve Your Holy Church, we lift up our prayers to You for these Your servants who have been chosen to lead this parish. As You commanded Moses to select able and faithful men to share in the responsibilities of leadership, we ask that You grant these newly elected office bearers the wisdom, discernment, and humility to fulfill their duties according to Your will.
Lord, bless them with the spirit of unity and love, so that they may work together in harmony for the glory of Your Holy Name. May their service be a reflection of the grace and truth of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and may they always remember that they are co-workers in Your vineyard, called to serve with selflessness and sincerity.
Grant, O Lord, that on the day of Your glorious coming, they may hear Your voice saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful in little, I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your Master.” Strengthen them to carry out their responsibilities in a way that brings honor to You and edifies the faithful of this parish.
We offer this prayer to You, O Lord, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and always, forever and ever.
